| About Me | Attended Hofstra University for 2 years studying engineering. In 1972, did a lot of traveling with my friend Nick Minglis, who I met at Hofstra University, to places including Bear Mountain, the Smoky Mountains, and Florida. Traveled by car throughout the Continental USA in 1973 for two months with Nick. First we visited the Colorado Rocky Mts., then Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon in Utah. We continued to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and Grand Canyon in Arizona. In California, we went to Joshua Tree National Park, Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and the Giant Sequoia National Monument. We hiked up Mt. Whitney in California (highest peak in the Continental USA) and slept there on the snow and thick ice. After that our trip took us to the Redwoods, Oregon, Washington State, Wyoming, the Dakotas and Mount Rushmore, and finally back home to Long Island, New York. Worked at Frederick-Stevens Mineral Company supplying geology sets for NY Board of Ed. In 1975, Nick and I went back west and hiked down the Grand Canyon to the Colorado River. Did a lot of rock and mineral collecting in Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Done custom van and auto-body work. Joined the Long Island Street Truckers (custom van club and went to many van-ins). Married Anne in 1980. Got Born Again in the early eighties. Sold life insurance for MetLife. Traveled to Hawaii, Egypt, Greece, and Israel with my wife Anne. Worked at the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for 10 years. Founded Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. (501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity) with my wife in 1988. Left Post Office in 1993 to work full time at our nationwide non-profit Christian prison ministry. Made our presence on the internet in 1996 with our domain name prisonministry.org and joined the federations Christian Charities USA and Independent Charities of America (now called America's Best Charities) in 2002. In 2014, we began publishing Christian ebooks through Smashwords. Our ebooks are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple, and other ebook retailers worldwide.
