| About Me | I'm here to share my passion of Plant-Based food, fitness and the lifestyle changes I've made to improve my physiological health and fitness goals. I hope to inspire, motivate and educate those of you who aspire to live a healthy lifestyle but may be lost in the superficial "fad diet" society we live in today. I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic for Montgomery County, MD. About 20 months ago (and counting) I decided I needed change. I was over 200 pounds, always tired, had settled for convenience food and a sedentary lifestyle. In January of 2012, I decided to put myself to the the ultimate test and pursue a Plant-Based/Vegan dietary lifestyle. Needless to say, I've never looked back. Since my transition, I've lost 50+ pounds (and kept it off!), have incredible energy, am stronger, faster and leaner than I've ever been in my life. Most importantly, I've served as an example and have helped influence positive change to my friends, family and peers.
