We’re Celebrating the GHS Class of ’78 40th Reunion
in a BIG WAY!
We have two big events scheduled; a reception at Union Jack’s in the RIO Washingtonian Center Friday, September 7 from 5-9 p.m. and a catered picnic at Seneca Creek State Park, Saturday, September 8, 2018 from Noon to 5:00 pm.
Be one of the first 50 people to sign up for our 40thanniversary reunion and take $5 off each event. Even if you’re not one of the first 50 attendees, we’ve negotiated great rates.

The 40th Reunion Weekend is open to all GHS graduates, so feel free to invite former students and classmates to help the Class of ’78 celebrate our 40th. You can also go to the Gaithersburg HS Class 1978 facebook page and search for the Eventbrite sign up post, which will allow you to sign up and pay for one or both events.

A gathering go Hippies, Freaks, Rednecks, Brothers and Sisters,Greasers Preppies and Nerds from central Montgomery County. We gather every year during Fair Week to share old memories and create new friendships. The Picnic is open to anyone from the area that graduated from the local schools from 1967- 1980 or so.
Held at Seneca Creek State park, at one of their Pavilions, It is a BYOB and food to share. The park offers grills and water/ electricity.
An Alcohol Permit will be arranged. Donations will be accepted and strongly encouraged to cover the site rental and permit.
Guests will need to help clean up and take a bag of trash with them.
COME ON OUT AND LETS PARTY!!!

Many of us will be spending the day at the Summit Hall Farm Park pool. If you register by 6/17 your ticket will include an activity bracelet with all day access to pool and mini golf. Lunch at the HIGH SCHOOL includes sandwiches, cookies and beverages plus a tour of the new campus. DINNER will be under a pavilion at BOHRER PARK right next door and will include MUSIC of the late 1980s, BBQ dinner buffet and all the Iced Tea and Lemon you can drink. The weekend starts Friday night with a meet up and the County Fair with drinks and memories after. Saturday begins at the All Alumni Picnic, Seneca State Park. Saturday night is our big bash at the Golden Bull with lots of appetizers and drinks (alcohol and non alcohol). Sunday brunch for recovery. We have a block of rooms at the Hilton, listed under 74 Reunion $80.00 per night.
