About Me	Worked as a professional convention and organization meetings and commercial show manager for American Society of Human Genetics , American Association of Pathology, Bioelectromagnetics Society and The Genetics Society of America. Raised a son, step-son and step-daughter. Was widowed and remarried, traveled the US widely and endured decades of stressful commuter driving in the metropolitan Washington DC area. Retired in 2007 and moved from Maryland where I had lived for 25 years back to Fremont. After considering many places in and out of USA to retire, husband and I chose Fremont because of good friends still living here...it is very difficult to make really close and lasting friends in places where one knows no one. We enjoy traveling. My husband Peter was born and raised in Athens, Greece, moved to USA for college received his PhD from Univ of Missouri and held a long term position with the US Department of Agriculture in the office of Nutrition Statistics and Info...(read more)
