She is survived by parents James and Patricia, sister Jessica G. Martinez, grandparent Alice and hanai family Scott, Jeanine, Jonah, Abby, Hannah and Elijah Smith. (from http://starbulletin.com/2004/10/20/news/obits.html) Jennifer Graefe; Aug. 9, 1967 -- Oct. 17, 2004 Jennifer Graefe, 37, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away Sunday at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center Jennifer was born in Sandusky. She lived in Norwalk and Fremont, graduating from Ross High School in 1985. Jennifer worked as a nanny for the next 16 years for various families with the last family being in Hawaii. Hawaii became her home and she found great welcome there. She was presently working for Tom and Patricia Coulson, owners of Hawaii on the Beach, as office manager. She is survived by her parents, James and Patricia (Cross) Graefe of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sister, Jessica Graefe Martinez and her husband, Gustavo; nieces, Allison and Gabriela; paternal grandmother, Alice Sonntag Graefe of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; maternal uncles, Steve and Ronald Cross of Norwalk; and her Hanai family, Scott and Jeanine Smith, and their children, Jonah, Abby, Hannah and Elijah. Preceding her are her brother, Robin James, 5-years-old; sister, Julianna, stillborn, maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather. She told me that Jennifer had as operation and all was going well. She later developed blood clots that caused her death. She said the memorial service was a beautiful celebration of Jennifer's life. They will spreading her ashes off the coast of Hawaii...her adopted home. |
