About	SAN DIEGO, CA: Scott Edward Hirt (aka "Bucko") of San Diego, California died June 28, 2012 at the age of 61 after a long battle with prostate cancer. Scott was born on September 17, 1950 in Fremont, Ohio. Scott graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1968 and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force. Scott was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 669 and retired after working many years for Schmidt Fire Protection. Scott is survived by his wife of 29 years, Annette of San Diego; Brothers and Sister; Michael, Bruce, Cindy and Mark of Fremont, Ohio. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Howard and Jeanette Hirt. Scott and Annette inherited MiMi, a toy poodle, upon the death of Annette's mother and MiMi became Scott's constant companion. Scott was the most wonderful husband, brother, uncle, and friend anyone could ask for. A special thanks to Dr. Tom Song and his staff at San Diego Oncology, and to the Sharp Memorial Hospital ER and MICU for their compassionate care. Per Scott's wishes, there will be no services.
