About Vicky Lynn Overmyer, 53, of Fremont, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Stein Hospice Unit in Sandusky, OH. She was born on October 23, 1953 in Fremont to Denver and Winona (Dodway) Franks. She was a 1972 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Vicky married Ted Allen Overmyer on November 2, 1973 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church by Rev. Milton Mann and he survives. She was a Homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Lindsey where she was active in the Youth Fellowship for the Church. Vicky was a member of the Grow and Glow Women's Circle and an Advisor for the Lindsey Boosters 4H Club. She enjoyed baking, fishing, sewing, reading, and loved to be with her grandchildren. Vicky is survived by her husband, Ted A. Overmyer, Fremont, OH; children, Jennifer (Michael) Joseph, Matthew (Erica) Overmyer, both of Lindsey, OH, Tammy (Eric) Jahns, of Elmore, OH, Jackie Overmyer, Fremont, OH; brothers, Gary (Mary) Franks, Larry (Sue) Franks; sisters, Cindy (Gary) Hartshorn, Ruth Anne (Ted) Luc, all of Fremont, OH; father and mother-in-law, Don and Jean Overmyer, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Garrett and Kortini Joseph, Matallyn, Marissa and Marcus Overmyer, Rebecca and Allen Jahns. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation: Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm at Wonderly-Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420. Service: Monday, April 23, 2007, 10:30 am, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 231 S. Maple St., Lindsey, OH with a one hour Visitation at the Church prior to the Service, Rev. Many great memories with my sister, something that will always be with me when I had my third child and Vicky had her first she went into labor and shared a room together at the hospital, so special! And , just before she passed, she said to me you know I am going first because Mom And Dad loved me best! Kept her humor till the end!
