About	PORT CLINTON: James Robert Baumer, 54, of W. Fremont Rd., Port Clinton, OH passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born on October 29, 1957 in Fremont to James Lamar Baumer and Claudette "Claudia" (Wolf) McFann. He was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. James was an Auto Mechanic and loved working on cars. He also loved sports and spending time with his son. James is survived by his son, James (Erica) Baumer, Port Clinton, OH; mother, Claudette McFann; siblings, Karen Retter, Cindy (Dick) Reineck, Lisa Hilty and life long friend, Deb Baumer McGrady, all of Fremont, OH He was preceded in death by his father, James Lamar Baumer; step father, Lowell McFann and brother-in-law, Scott Retter. A Private Service for the family will be held. Memorials may be made to the family.
