About Cynthia J. Skutt, 62, and Alfred T. King, Jr., 56, both of Fremont, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 10, 2010 as a result of injuries from an automobile accident in Michigan. They shared life together happily for 28 years.

Cynthia was born in Fremont to the now deceased Michael and Clara Belle (Byers) Hrynciw, Sr. on December 22, 1947. She was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She later worked as an LPN for Countryside Continued Care Center, Elmwood Nursing Home and Bethesda Care Center. She was currently working at Professional Case Management as a home health nurse. Cynthia was a volunteer at Firelands Hospital Maternity Ward and at the Church on 53. She took pride in taking care of people, and loved her grandchildren and family very much. Cynthia enjoyed making floral arrangements and many different types of plants.

Alfred was born on January 24, 1954 in Flint, MI to the now deceased Alfred T. and Marjorie R. (Raynor) King, Sr. He attended Davison High School in Michigan. He was employed at D's LP Gas for many years and was also an owner/operator truck driver. Alfred enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

They are survived by their children, Brian (Marci) King of Altus, OK, Michael (Emily) Skutt of Elyria, Laura (Jose Rodriguez) Skutt of Marblehead, and Mark (Chastity) Skutt of Flint, MI; 10 grandchildren, Cameron, Morgan, Colton, Devin, Jalen, Parker Rose, Carissa, Quentin, Meadow, and Dominic. Cynthia is also survived by siblings, Michael (Darla) Hrynciw, Jr. of Port Clinton, Anna Marie Hrynciw (Karen Martin) of Fremont, and Mary (Patrick) Keegan of Johnsons Island. She was preceded in death by her parents and her companion, Alfred T. King, Jr. Alfred is also survived by sisters, Gloria Yorks of Lapeer, MI, Betty (Norm) Heckman of Hale, MI and Sue (Bob) Fultz of Lapeer, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Matt Kutcher officiating.
