About	FREMONT: Gary P. Wheatley, 64, of Morrison St., Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. He was born on December 25, 1945 in Gibsonburg, OH to Albert LeRoy and Alvira Rose (Cordrey) Wheatley. He was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Gary served in the U.S. Army from June 21, 1965 to March 28, 1967 and was awarded the National defense Service Medal. He married Julia May Whiley on November 5, 1988 in Celina, OH and she survives. Gary worked for Whirlpool Corp for over fifteen years and retired in 2009. He was a member of Clyde Presbyterian Church and enjoyed golfing, watching movies and spending time with his grandchildren. Gary's favorite saying to Julia was "Ich Liebe Dich" which means "I Love You" in German. Gary is survived by his wife, Julia Wheatley; children, Julie (Maurice) Clay, Patrick (Rhonda Liebold) Wheatley, all of Fremont, OH; brother, Thomas Wheatley, Sandusky, OH; grandchildren, Alyssa Clay, Jordan Wheatley, Kiarra Clay and Isaiah Clay. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, June Zamora. Visitation: Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH. Service: Friday, May 21, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Service. Pastor David Gowan will officiate.
