About	FREMONT: Karol Kaye Tolhurst, age 63, of Fremont, died Saturday evening, March 13, 2010 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Port Clinton. Born in Fremont on July 27, 1946, she was a daughter of now deceased Gordon and Alice (Schell) Tolhurst. Karol graduated from Fremont Ross in 1965 and worked for the Sandusky County and Findlay School Systems as an interpreter for the deaf, mostly in elementary education. She was also known to work as a clerk at the SuperAmerica Convenience Store and as a driver of Max's Taxi of Fremont. Karol was a member of the Fremont Church of the Nazarene and was a caregiver to family and friends. She was a volunteer with Hospice of Memorial Hospital, an avid Michigan Wolverine fan and enjoyed gospel music and concerts. Surviving her is her adopted son, Jason Nicholas of Fremont; sister, Karon Chrzan of Dearborn, MI; and nephew, David Chrzan of Taylor, MI; and aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 17, 10:30 a.m., at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont. Pastor Dan Vickey will officiate. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. and beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
