About	GREEN SPRINGS: Daniel L. Reese, 62, of Green Springs, died at 11:40 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010 at his residence. Daniel was born January 25, 1947, in Fremont, to the late Kenneth L. Reese and Enid (Rees) Reese who survives in Fremont. He married Karol (Wiechman) Reese in Monroe, MI on July 6, 1971 and she survives in Green Springs. Survivors include his children, Jason (Shannan) Reese of Superior, CO, Jim (Marcia) Reese of Green Springs, and Jame (Greg) Keegan of Castalia. Daniel is also survived by four grandsons, one granddaughter; four brothers, Don Reese of Avon, Dennis Reese of Carlsbad, Calif, Dean Reese and Duane Reese both of Fremont; two sisters, Diane Ray of Fremont and Denise Ashton of Oak Harbor; and many nieces and nephews. Daniel was currently working as the Village Clerk of Green Springs; he also retired from Davis-Besse in Oak Harbor after twenty plus years of work. Daniel and his wife were the former owners/operators of the Corner Drive-Thru for thirty-three years, and also worked with the Green Springs police and fire departments. Daniel was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and was a retired Army National Guardsman with twenty plus years of service to his country. Daniel was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Seth Tracey. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Green Springs with Brother Dee Whaley officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2-6 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Green Springs cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Village of Green Springs to be spread throughout the Village community.
