About	Dan R. Moran, 65 of Fremont, died Friday evening at St Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born in Fremont on February 6, 1943 to Virgil and Louise (Gray) Moran. Dan participated in many sports during his high school years and graduated from Fremont Ross in 1961. He attended Tiffin University, The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University. Dan married Barbara McClory on June 26, 1965 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Dan was a supervisor at the Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde for 37 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont and the Elks Lodge. Some of Dan's favorite things were cooking, sports, his Boxer dogs and fishing. Dan was a dedicated family man who spent most of his time following and participating in his children and grandchildren's activities. Dan is survived by his wife Barbara of Fremont, children Shay Moran of Dayton, Ohio, Shannon (Dan) Hajec of Nashville, TN and Shane (Amy) Moran of Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren, Macleary and Hailey Moran, Brendan and Brady Hajec and Ethan Moran, Uncle Ed (Marilyn) Moran of Blissville, MI and a half-sister Phyllis Jean Moran of West Branch, MI.. Dan is preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother Jim Ward. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM from Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 South Arch Street Fremont. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM from Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery Memorials in Dan's name may be made to Youth for Christ of Northern Ohio, P.O. Box 626 Brunswick, OH 44212.
