About	Rocky A. Paulus, 42, died Jan 30, 1996 in Gastonia, N.C. after a long illness. He was born in Fremont to Newton J. and Evelyn M. (Duket) Paulus. His father is deceased. He was a master hair stylist for 22 years and owned a salon in Charleston, SC; he moved to NC in 1994. He was also an educator for Vidal Sasson and Goldwell. Surviving are his companion John Owens of Gastonia, and from Fremont, his mother, sister Pennie Wilhelm, and nephews Terry and Wim Wilhelm and niece Tammie Wilhelm, whom he helped raise. Memorial services will be at a later date.
