Raymond Anthony Stofko Sr., 53, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born January 19, 1953 in Bethlehem, a son of the late John and Anna Stofko and his late stepfather, John Stellaka. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Roseann (Blair) Stofko. He was a dedicated equipment operator for PennDOT for 17 years. Raymond served as the Sergeant at Arms for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 2160. He was also co-owner of Indulge Restaurant in Allentown. Raymond was a member of the N.E. Wanderers Athletic Assn., Home Assn., and several dart leagues. He was also a member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and bowler and he especially enjoyed collecting Indian relics, riding his Harley and Sunday afternoon dinners with family and friends. Survivors: Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his family: wife, Rose; daughters, Wendy George and Tiffany Stofko, both of Bethlehem and son, Raymond Stofko of Macungie as well as three grandchildren, Julian, Darryl and Kayla. He is also survived by his sister, Roseanne Stofko of Easton and brothers, Richard of Bethlehem, Robert of Allentown and Ronald of Riegelsville. The family would like to thank Dr. Sharon Beckhard for the special care and attention that she gave to Raymond throughout his battle.
