| About Me | Started out to be a Biology teacher for junior high school. Was told there weren't any jobs out there. Changed and went to Nursing school in Yakima. Worked here at home for 3 years after graduation. Wanted to leave this area. Applied and was accepted to work for the the royal family in a new Nospital in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Worked there for 4 years and traveled during my off times. Came home for 1 year was bored and went back to work in a military hospital in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Met my husband who was there working for the Royal Saudi Air Force as an instructor. Jimmie was from Texas and was taking a break from the Air Force after 11 years active duty flying C130s. Stayed there for 2 years. Came home to have my son, Sean who is now almost 25 yrs old and in the Navy. Sean is assigned to the flight deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln as a yellow shirt (flight director).We also have a daughter, Savanna, who is 20 yrs old and will be a junior at Texas A&M/ Soonchunhyang University (Korea) in the fall 2009. She will be an exchange student for 18 months there majoring in Int'l Affairs/Korea. I am still working as an RN but doing Administrative work after 36 yrs. Jimmie is working at Boeing, just celebrating his 20+ anniversary recently. We travel as much as we can. When the kids were younger we spent our time going to baseball, speed skating and horse shows. Maybe now we can travel to Korea. Jimmie will be officially Retired from the Air Force in August so we can travel military aircraft. No grandkids-no marriages.
