Vietnam Era Veteran serving in the Air Force from 1971 - 1976. Primary stations were SanAntonio TX; Chanute IL; David Monthan in Tucson AZ; Kanehoe Marine Base in Hawaii; while squadron was sent to Karat Thailand to support Vietnam war effort; Bitburg Germany, Zaragoza Spain, and a few other TDY's to some 'different' places. Worked as an Avionics specialist primarily on the A7D Corsair Attack Air to Ground jets, and F4E Phantom Fighter Jets. Life changing experience.

Our Francis T. Maloney High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Francis T. Maloney High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Meriden are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
