About	Right after graduating Maloney, Debby entered Western Connecticut University. Upon graduating she joined Deptford Township High School, New Jersey as a Mathematics' teacher. Debby was taking courses towards her Master's Degree while teaching at Deptford. Around the year 1977 she noticed that she was having difficulty speaking and she had dizzy spells. The doctors thought that Debby had a brain tumor, but they discovered MS instead. One of Debby's peers told her younger sister that many teachers were stricken with MS at the time and when Debby died, she was the last teacher of that school to die of MS. From 1977 until 2011 Debby endured a bedridden life. Debby was born January 17, 1944 and half of her life was wasted by MS. Debby was elegant and poised; it was such a waste.
