Alumni Stories
Christina Johnson
Class of 2000
Christy is quite an amazing person. She worked hard throughout school, performed well in sports, but most importantly, she was an amazing friend. So it is no surprise how her life has worked out. She is currently a teacher at a school for students who cannot perform in normal public schcool. All along, she has continued her education and has earned her masters. But Christy has had many struggles and this has not stopped her from achieving so much. Christy was born with a disease and by the age of two her kidneys no longer worked. Early on, she received a transplant and now the time has come for another. she works, bringing joy to her students, but three times a week she goes to dialysis. This does not stop her! This is why i think Christy belongs on the wall of fame. Something that could bring down many, has only made her stronger. and i think a strong, smart, beautiful woman would be a great role model for all to see and for all to mirror in life. thank you!
