I join the military in 2009 where I was a chapel assistant the 18th airborne Corps. As a chaplain assistant I got to do what I love which is helping others. After having my first Child in December 2010 I got diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases. While going through my medical board, which ended in the medical retirement from the Army, I was handpicked but the General of the 18th Airborne Corps, General Helmic, to be in charge of the strong bonds program for all of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In simple terms I was an event planner for soldiers and their families to attend weekend counseling events off post to strengthen themselves, their marriages, & their families, at places such as Myrtle Beach,South Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina, Concord, North Carolina, Williamsburg,Virginia. I never deployed due to my pregnancy and illnesses. I may not have been on the front lines of war off of American soil but I did help fight the effects of war on the families of those who did as well as help those doing the fighting with the mental & emotional aftermath of being on the front lines. I did everything thing from assistance of my chaplain on death notifications to the start to finish of Memorial services. I didn't want to leave the Army & had my body not stopped working on me I would still be there today.

served 4 years on two aircraft carries.I was on the eisenhower cvn-69 . I commissioned the Carl vinson CVN-70. march 13 1983 did an around the world tour. I then went to the submarine USS-TAUTOG for 5 years as and auxilaryman (MM).I was stationed in PEARL Harbor HAWAII for 10 years. I taught school for 4Years. Machinist Mate courses.Played ALL NAVY HAWAII SOFTBALL. i then transfered to the EMORY S LAND for 4years. i ran the valve shop in the repair division.the I transfered to Squadron for a Master at arms tour then I retired.
