About Me	I am married w/ a beautiful 5yr old daughter, Zoey. I have had some major medical issues since becoming pregnant. At about my 4th month into my pregnancy they discovered I have IgA Nephropathy (Chronic Kidney Disease). It has since caused kidney failure & treated with a transplant from my wonderful mom on April 17th, 2012. Her & I are doing great after a long recovery process & being closely monitored by Drs. Because of my kidney problems I wasn't able to carry Zoey to full-term. She was born 8 weeks premature, at 1lb 14oz & 15" long (on my birthday), which was expected. I was given steroid shots which helped her lung development & was able to breath on her own shortly after birth. Spent a month in the Mercy NICU, only to put on some weight & was able to come home at 3lb 12oz on May 9. During Zoey's birth I began to hemorrhage & ended up needing an emergency hysterectomy.
