Lynn was preceded in death by her parents. Instate Wednesday March 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with a 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church 4250 W. Lynn had a very interesting life. She worked as a purchasing department manager for Wayne County government from 1998 to 2018 when she retired. She worked other places before that, however, her position with Wayne County displayed the meticulous talent Lynn had with saving taxpayer money by overseeing purchases of services and supplies and recommending which of the purchases would go through. She saved many thousands and even millions of dollars through all those years. Lynn was also quite a talented athlete. She was active in girls’ intramural sports such as field hockey and basketball during her Fordson High School years. Lynn was a good swimmer and ice skater as well. In later years, she developed a keen interest in the world of martial arts and achieved a black belt. She was an instructor for many years in martial arts. She enjoyed getting together with old high school classmates and attended many of the class reunions and get togethers. She will be missed tremendously.
