| Favorite School Memory | Forgot the year but me and Eddie Parnell cut homeroom and band class and drove over to BHS on the Friday we played them and beat them in football the first time. We had a dummy that looked like a BHS player spread out on the hood of Eddie"s car with a sword sticking thru it. It took alot of luck and crazy driving to get out of the BHS campus alive! | About Me | Manifested a diverse oilfield experience and used it to become a executive oilfield salesperson in drilling fluids. Became a pro motorcycle racer in 1967 with wins in dirt track racing and road racing production motorcycles. Was the youngest rider at age 18 to top Competition Hill in hillclimbing in 1966. Won Top Street Eliminator Motorcycle classes in drag racing March Meet in 1971.Won multi drag races in60s and 70s and held 11 NHRA Records at one time. Rode Class A Speedway motorcycles 1970-1974, rated 6th in California State Championship. Learned to play golf at Bakersfield Country Club was taught and played with pro David Barber. Tied for 1st place in team Championship in 1981. Just before my car accident resulting in my parapalegia. Joined the Bakersfield Police Department as a Reserve Officer in 1974 and served with Steve Brummer when Steve was just a flatfoot not the Chief.
