About Me	My first husband was also a 1967 graduate of Fontana High , James "Jim" Henry Peters Jr. We were married in Dec. 1967. He was shot and paralyzed from the waist down in Vietnam in May of 1968. He was on hemodialysis which we did at home from 1973 until his death. He died in Sept 1978 from complications. He was an inspiration to me. He was my first true love. We have 2 sons together, Jim the III who is 41, and Jon who is 34. Jim has 2 children James Henry IV who is almost 18 an Rhylee who is almost 15. After Jims death, I went to school and became a registered nurse .Most of my career has been in nephrology specializing in dialysis. I am also a Certified Nephrology Nurse. I turned 60 in August and work 2 jobs both perdiem. I work in Olympia Washington and in dialysis in Chehalis Washington and I sometimes work in other dialysis centers for the same company. I also work in the acute dialysis unit in the hospital that I also work on the med renal unit. I have been a nurse for 26 years now and have slowed down from full time to part time, although sometimes part time is full time. We live out in the country close to Mount Saint Helens and have 21 acres of land which we boght 8 years agohave been reforesting it. . We have elk and deer right in our yard frequently. This is just beautiful country. We get our firewood from our property to heat our house. We had a huge vegetable garden this year which we had to fence to keep the critters out. We have 5 dogs and 5 parrots, one parrot will be 40 years old this November. We also have a pet goose who is 5 months old now and alerts us whenever anyone comes over. We have chickens for fresh eggs. My second husband is Rick Baker who is also a registered nurse. He is from Atlanta, Georgia. He has brought so much joy to my life.
