SGT. Heale served a 3-year voluntary active duty term as a Logistics Coordinator; and later was activated out of the Inactive Ready Reserves for a deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 & 3 as a convoy security specialist, piloting the convoy scout gun truck.
