About	Edward O. Hamilton Class of 1967, born September 2, 1947 passed away June 21, 2008 at the Veterans Administrationâ€™s Hospice Center in Vancouver, Washington. Eddie attended Florence Grade School and Florence High School. After graduating in 1967 he went into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Eddie grew up in Florence but later in life moved to Oregon. Even though he was gone from Florence he never lost touch with his home town. Every week he would call his life long best friend Perry Holmes to find out what was going on in Florence. Eddie could tell you stories about the history of Florence which was told to him by his Grandpa Cathemer. He loved to cook and share his recipes. Cause of Death is unknown but after going into the emergency room he went into coma and never woke up. He was laid to rest in the WILLAMETTE NATIONAL CEMETERY in Portland, Oregon.
