Yo-Yes, It's happening, a 40th class reunion for the "Greatest Class Alive, the Class of 1975". We are meeting Friday, Oct. 9 at Heritage Park, south end of Main street,11:30-12:00, to walk/ride in the homecoming parade. Then a gathering at Big Quicks at 3:00 to talk, eat, drink, and be merry. Later on to the game, don't be late or you will miss our introduction, and afterwards, who knows!
Saturday's plan is a picnic at Heritage park, bring your own food and drink, 11:30ish to 1:30ish. That evening we are gathering at the Elks Club, don't have the time yet.
Check out the school apparel on this site. How about we all get a red Florence alumni 75 t-shirt to wear in the parade.
Tell your siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, anyone who may have been in the class of '75. We want as many of the class to attend as possible.

Friday night we will be attending the football game and gathering at my brother Tom's property on Diversion Dam Road. Saturday at 11:00 a.m. we have a tour of the high school planned with a picnic lunch after. Also on Saturday we will be meeting at River Bottom for dinner and fun. Dinner will be at 7:00 p.m.

From Megan "Applegate" Carpenter *UPDATE: Friday October 19th Homecoming Parade starts at 1pm along downtown Main Street. We will have a float so if you can or want to meet around 12:30-12:45ish at Heritage Park. Also, some of us want to get together the night before to ‘decorate’ our float. Amanda Bingochea has offered her Casa to do this. She lives at the same house (633 N. Warner). *I need to know who plans on riding in the float for Friday as I received no response and need to know how big of a trailer to get and to set up times with Amanda to decorate the float at her house. I know most people work on Fridays but for example, for me, I’m using an extra hour of lunch so I can ride the float. So c’mon fellow classmates! Saturday October 20th Family BBQ at Main St. Park. *Let’s get together at Stoner Park (West from L&B’s) at 1pm. Please bring whatever you want to grill although Casey has offered to bring hotdogs & burgers for everyone. You also need to bring your own drinks and a side dish for everyone to share if possible and chairs. It is too hard to get head counts of everything.... and everyone. So, if you plan on attending, just post on here what you will be attending. The most important thing is the Football Game Friday and of course coming out to River Bottom after the game! The BBQ will be fun too and a great time to meet the kids of the "kids" of 02 and your family!

Calling the Class of 2002!! I know most of you have some sort of social network but not all of us (meaning me!), so I wanted to send out a quick note the old fashion way by email. Homecoming is fast approaching for our hometown Florence Gophers which means our 10 year reunion! YIKES! Yes, in case some of you forgot, we are pushing 30 and our 20’s are fading fast. So here’s what’s coming up: Friday October 19th Homecoming Parade starts at 1pm along downtown Main Street. We will have a float so if you can or want to meet around 12:30-12:45ish at Heritage Park. Also, some of us want to get together the night before to ‘decorate’ our float. Amanda Bingochea has offered her Casa to do this. She lives at the same house (633 N. Warner). Friday October 19th Homecoming Game starts at 7pm at the High School. I believe we will be called onto the field at halftime to announce the Class of 2002. Friday October 19th Postgame Party at the River Bottom. I believe there will be a DJ and also the Class of 1992 will be joining us. Saturday October 20th Family BBQ at Heritage Park. I don’t know if this is planned but I think it’s a good idea to meet each other’s families (if we don’t already) and enjoy the afternoon. What time works best for everybody? I do know there is a law enforcement softball tournament going on that day at the fields/park so we need to start soon. Maybe we can do this at the High School??? Saturday October 20th River Bottom at 8pm for one last get together for adults only (duh!). If you need a designated driver, please let me know so we can work something out. I know I don’t have nearly as many classmates info so please pass this along ASAP! Please give me feedback on all the items listed above in case anybody has a better idea/plan. Hope to hear from ya!
