Direct commission as a LTJG (O-2) in the JAG Corps, 1986. Served on active duty at NLSO Great Lakes, 1986-1988; assigned to USS Coral Sea (CV-43) 1988-1990; left active duty & joined NR LSO 207 MIDLANT. Recalled for Operation Desert Storm 1991 and served 8 mos. active duty at NLSO Charleston. Served as a SELRES in LSO units, PERSMOB Teams, in the Pentagon and at Navy BUMED from 1991 through 2004. Commanded NR VTU (Law) Raleigh, NC, 2004-2006. Released from the reserves after 20+ years at the rank of Commander (O-5).
