He was a heavy automotive mechanic for James-Martin Chevrolet, for 25 years, 6250 Woodward, Detroit, across from the Amtrak train station, near E. Grand Blvd., my dad was treasurer there from early 1950's when it was Jerry McCarthy Chevrolet, until 1966 when it became Bill Markley Chevrolet, he was a younger man who drove a Lamborghini then ! he died in his 40's in FL, Marty Feldman was a new car salesman there before he owned his own car dealerships. Steven's pa John J. Pocius was a mechanic at Whyte Oldsmobile 14800 E. Jefferson Ave., near Alter Rd., he died aqe 64, 5-26-1910 Florence, PA - 12-26-74 Detroit, ma Genevieve, nee Zawadzki (Polish ethnicity), 85, 1-28-1912 Detroit - 2-28-1997 New Baltimore, MI (Macomb Co.), both buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 17100 Van Dyke, Detroit, Section S, Lot 869, posted 4-4-2026 by Bill Menor, Finney High 1/69 grad, Detroit 48224, I've been in 48227 the last 5 years.
