About	My dad was quite the character. He was a phenominal athlete and friend. Some people remember him as "PJ", I remember him as "dad". Any fond memories are greatly appreciated and I have enjoyed reading others updates. It kind of makes me feel like I am a part of something "bigger" than myself.

I grew up with your father. He was a great friend and teammate. We went to grade school, junior high and high school together. I use go to his house, we would box and listen to records like the Everly Brothers. His parents and brother Mel were always friendly. They moved to a new house a couple of blocks from where I lived in Milton. I lost track of him when we graduated high school and I went to the U of W. I can remember him playing fullback in high school and always getting those tough yards. He was a battering ram and never feared contact. In hindsight using smelling salts after you got your bell rung wasn’t the best treatment.
I am sorry for your loss but you have many reasons to be proud of your dad!
