USAF officer and pilot. Over 4,300 flying hours in T-37, T-38, B-52 and U-2 aircraft. Flew U-2 reconnaissance missions in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm and at various other locations. Commander of 99th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB, CA. Served in staff positions in Hawaii, the Pentagon and in Denmark. Retired as Colonel in 1998.
