Andrew J. Kuhaida, Jr.
Class of 1960
Peace Corps, 9 Years

Provided assistance to the people of Iraq. Initially I traveled as far north as the border with Syria with a Civil Service Unlt from the Midwest. Then I was assigned to a unit located in the Azimiya Palce of Uday. My son, Major Steven Kuhaida was located there. I was able to visit him often as I traveled from my work areas from the north and south of Iraq. We both had PTSD but his wife was nearby in Bulgaria. I suffered the effects of PTSD and just recently recovered at my home in Oak Ridge, Tennesee to the extent I was able to drive my pick-up truck without any problems.

Our Falmouth High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Falmouth High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Falmouth are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
