Class of 1976
Air Force, 6 Years

Air Force Security Police Forces. Completed six months at the Police Academy at Lackland AFB at San Antonio, Texas, then was stationed at Elmendorf AFB at Anchorage, Alaska. I loved AK so much I extended my stay there and completed my enlistment there. I shot on the Rifle/Pistol team, missing world wide competition by one point. Met my (ex) wife in Eagle River, AK and we eventually drove back to Minnesota. I hope to move back to Alaska someday before I get too old...its the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever been. The fishing and hunting is fantastic. I was able to bring down a moose with my bow which was pretty exciting, though carrying it out of the bush over a mile was no fun at all.
