BOLENDER, Alfred M. age 83, died on Jan 3, 2005 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth, son John of Dayton, sisters, LeJeune Howser & Suzanne Glassco & husband, Marvin of Georgetown, OH. Mr Bolender graduated from the Univ of Cincinnati & Morehead State Univ. He spent 35 yrs in the field of education, 27 in the Kettering School system as a teacher and administrator, then 2 yrs at Miami Univ after his retirement. He was a P47 pilot in the (famed) 56th fighter group during World War II, was stationed in England. After retirement he greatly enjoyed traveling, volunteering & was an avid golfer. His body was donated to the Anatomical Gift Program at WSU.
