Attained the rank of Engineman 1st class. Served 1 year - 66-67 in Vietnam where I was chief engineer on large landing craft. We took these boats to, Hue, Chu Lai, Phu Bai, Dong Ha, Cau Viet, I served on a boat we had based in An Hoa. Our base of operations was Danang. I am disabled due to the effects of Agent Orange.
