While serving in the military, participated in Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Operation Restore Hope Somolia, Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

After high school, I enter the United States Air Force. I learned how to become a jet engine mechanic. I was stationed at Travis AFB, CA. from 1974 to 1979. The aircraft that I worked on was the C5A in MAC. I repaired, modified, assembled, and tested the TF-39 GE turbofan jet engines. I left with a honorable discharge as a Staff Sargent.
