About	Marcario ''Mac'' Gomez Avalanche-Journal Tuesday, June 02, 2009 Story last updated at - Rosary for Marcario "Mac" Gomez, 46, of Lubbock will be 7 p.m. today at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Deacon Benny Brito officiating. Burial will be at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Richard Calvillo and Calvillo Funeral Home staff. Marcario passed away Monday. He was born on June 6, 1962 in Brownfield to the late Juan(2003) and Lupe Volanios Gomez. Marcario was a 1980 graduate of Estacado High. He married Stella Nombrana on January 5, 1980 in Lubbock. He worked for Sheet Rock Metals and Scoggin Dickey. He could be found at many bars with all of his friends cheering on his favorite teams the Denver Broncos and Texas Tech Red Raiders. He was a lifelong resident of Lubbock and a Catholic. He is preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Solis on January 30, 1989. He is survived by his wife of Lubbock; three daughters, Amanda and husband Joel Garcia, Ashley and Alexandria Gomez all of Lubbock; his mother, Lupe Gomez; stepfather, Isabel Flores of Lubbock; two brothers, John and wife Linda Gomez of Gold Hill, N.C., and Sammy and wife Middy Gomez of Westlaco; and five grandchildren.
