About Me	This is my business bio with a little added. President/Executive Director of the Industrial Health Council, Birmingham, Alabama from January 2007 to October 2014. Now owner of a hearing conservation consulting business. B.S. in Business Administration, Major in Accounting, Auburn University. Twenty-seven years in healthcare administration starting as an accountant for a small rural hospital and progressing to President/CEO of a regional healthcare system. Obtained Diplomat status from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Served as Board Member and Chair of the Small/Rural section of the Alabama Hospital Association, President of the Alabama Association of Hospital Executives, Medicaid Advisory Committee and Region Delegate to the American Hospital Association. Owned and operated a small business while teaching accounting and human resource management for a local business college then provided management consulting services for small to mid sized businesses before joining IHC. Past Civic Responsibilities Include: Chair, Dallas County Industrial Development Authority; Chair, Regional United Way Board; President, Rotary Club; Board Member, Local AmSouth Bank; Leadership Dallas County; Active in the Baptist Church.
