| About Me | My childhood home was nestled in the Silver Valley mining district of Northern Idaho where I loved being in the outdoors where we hiked, skied and enjoyed the simple life of living in the mountains. After graduation from high school I moved to make my mark in Southern California and was dazzled by working in the movie industry and after a few years of being an extra or production assistant it was time to go get a college degree. The University of La Verne was a great place for me and I blossomed into adulthood and ready to take on the world as a broadcast journalist, but the economy was in the dumps so I joined the Army! All of my friends and family were shocked that the Student Body President and Sigma Kappa Sorority girl would become a gun-totin' soldier, but I grew to love my job as a military photojournalist. It really was the toughest job I ever loved and still do. I served 12 years as a journalist, Military Police Officer and Press Secretary. It was a great adventure and I am very proud to have served my country to the best of my ability.
