About	James H. Letz, 70, passed away February 2,, 2013. Born in Akron, James had live most of his life in the Akron area. He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Akron Police Department as a Sergeant. In 1996, James retired after 25 years of service. He was a member of the FOP Lodge #7 Retirees Luncheon Group and the FOP Lodge #7 Golf League. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele; parents, Elizabeth and Henry Letz; brother-in-law, John Vince, and sisters-in-law, Raffie Olson and Philomena Vince. He is survived by sister, Betty Hartz and Blane of Mogadore; sister-in-law, Rose Vince of Niles; brother-in-law, Bud Olson on TN; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jennie and Ray Rafoth of CA, Nancy and Mike Vince of Canfield; aunts, Ann Christian of Mogadore, Ann Letz of Green and several cousins, friends, and wonderful neighbors. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. with Rev. Dr. Barry French officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park, where military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #449. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 5l, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the FOP Lodge #7 2610 Ley Dr. Akron, OH 44319.
