About	Edward V. Harmless Jr., 59 passed away from pancreatic cancer July 22, 2002. Born in Akron, he was retired from the Akron Fire Department in 1992 as a firefighter with 26 years of service, and a member of I.A.F.F., NRA, and Lakeview Lighthouse Church. Ed is survived by wife, Norma Jeanne; mother, Blanche Witter; children, Shirley Kunkle, Sherry (Will) Frady,, Sharon Setree, and Bill Nostalgia; grandchildren, Darell, Wayne, Malissa, Darick, Miranda, and Monah; sister Eilene (Larry) Moore; nephew Larry Jr.; nieces, Michelle and Tracy; aunts, Thelma, Maxine (Larry), Pearl; and numerous other family and friends. Ed was a third generation firefighter. Visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, with last alarm at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Lakeview Lighthouse Church, at the corner of Route 224 and Kubler Trail in Springfield Township, with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. Memorial donations may be made to his church. Interment at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery. Hecker Funeral Home
