About	Donna D. Heavner-Hardy, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014. She was born May 28, 1940 in Akron, Ohio. Donna fought her illness with the same strength and dignity as all the other challenges she faced in her lifetime. She was an amazing woman who always put the needs of her family above her own and was the cornerstone of her family. She will forever live on in our hearts, minds and souls. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Vera Lowe and sister, Carol Gravens. She is survived by her sons, David (Betty), Daniel, Dean (Debra), Darren (Tami), and Dale (Tammie) Heavner; niece and honorary daughter, Robin Gardner, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula, Ohio.
