About	Thomas Eugene Hopkins, 74, passed away peacefully January 13, 2014 at Summa Akron City Hospital. Thomas was born April 23, 1939 and was the son of Saul and Arlecy Hopkins. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1958. Tom served in the Coast Guard Reserve for six years. He then worked at Teledyne Monarch Rubber for over 20 years, followed by Reuther Mold and Manufacturing until his retirement. Tom had a great love of antiques, old cars, golf and bowling. He was also very active in the Ellet Alumni Association with the reunion committees. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Patricia (Bryant) Hopkins of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Hubert (Mickie) Hopkins of Stow; daughter, Trice (Matt) Guisinger of Sanford, Fla.; sister, Carol Hopkins of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Janelle (Jim) Albertoni of Mogadore; sister-in-law, Sandra (Evan) Hartz of Baltimore, Md.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Papa's joys were his grandchildren, Haley and Scott Hopkins and Samantha and Preston Guisinger. The family would like to thank the staff of 5 West and the CCU at Summa for their help and concern for Tom. Service will be held 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Dr. David A. Baker officiating. Private interment at Restland Cemetery, Brimfield.
