Steven Dean Beck
Birth: 14 July 1958 • Sacramento, Sacramento, California, USA
Death: 22 Mar 2020 • West Sacramento, Yolo, California, USA
In 2011 Steven retired from his job as a firefighter/paramedic from Sacramento Metro Fire Dist (previously known as American River Fire Protection Dist.)
He graduated early in 1976 in order to take firefighter courses.
He was an Eagle Scout and continued his interest with Native American culture through scouting programs.
He traveled to many countries & many states in the USA. After retiring he spent time building computers.
He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March 2019. Probably caused by his early work as a voluntary firefighter (1979). He was a fighter, but it didn’t go his way. He even had a “going away” party on March 1, 2020 with all his friends & family!
Photo on this Obit is from his “going away” party.
