He graduated early in 1976 in order to take firefighter courses. He was an Eagle Scout and continued his interest with Native American culture through scouting programs. He traveled to many countries & many states in the USA. After retiring he spent time building computers. He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March 2019. Probably caused by his early work as a voluntary firefighter (1979). He was a fighter, but it didn’t go his way. He even had a “going away” party on March 1, 2020 with all his friends & family!
