Christopher James (CJ) Concilla, a former resident of Elk Grove died Nov. 24, 2013 in Salem Community Hospital, Salem, Ore. following an extended illness.
He was born July 11, 1970 in Salem and grew up in Elk Grove where he attended James McKee Elementary, Joseph Kerr Middle and Elk Grove High schools. He then spent several years in the restaurant business.
His friends described him as a fun-loving person who always had a smile on his face and loved to play little pranks.
Mr. Concilla is survived by his parents, Gerald and Evelyn Concilla of Elk Grove; sister Gail Marie Concilla (Tudor); nephews, Jeremy (Jazzmin), Jason (Heather) and Andrew (Jocelyn) Tudor; great- nephew Joshua James Tudor; great-nieces, Haley Rose and Lillian Grace Tudor; and soon-to-be great-nephew Tobias Lee Tudor.
A memorial Mass will take place Monday, Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 9961 Elk Grove-Florin Road. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
