Mike died after a long battle with cancer. He grew up in Elk Grove and graduated from Elk Grove High School. He was a truck driver, logging millions of miles across the country. he is survived by his parents Roy and Gail Swehla, brother Gene and his wife Karen, and nephew Preston, wife Aryanna and son Rydder, all of Elk Grove. His family commented on how well liked he was, with countless friends. At his request there are no services.
