Don was a native of California and was born on May 16, 1924. After graduation from Elk Grove High School he joined the US Army where he was a glider mechanic stationed in England. After the war his businesses included a car dealership and a muffler shop. He was a member in good standing of the Red Men Lodge and past President of the Florin Historical Society. He is survived by Judy, his loving wife of sixty-three years: son Larry: brother Norman: and sister June. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
