| About | Shelley was 1976 Mid Term Grad of EGHS In Loving Memory of Shelley Hayes-Pelleta September 26, 1957 – January 24, 2022 Shelley Hayes-Pelleta was born on September 26, 1957, to Jim and Shirley Hayes. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and cherished member of her family whose presence touched the lives of many. Shelley was the sister of Kimmy Sanchez, and throughout her life, the bond between the two sisters remained an important part of her story. To her family, Shelley was much more than a sister and daughter—she was someone who brought love, strength, and guidance to those around her. Shelley held a particularly special place in the hearts of her nephews, Brandon Sanchez and Brent Sanchez. To Brandon, she was like a second mother—someone he could look up to, learn from, and admire. She was the kind of person he wanted to be like when he grew up. Her influence helped shape the person he became, and the love she gave both Brandon and Brent will remain with them throughout their lives. Shelley married Steve Peletta, beginning a life together filled with memories, experiences, and the love they shared as husband and wife. Those who knew Shelley will remember her not simply for the roles she held within her family, but for the person she was—the example she set, the love she gave, and the lasting impression she left on the people fortunate enough to know her. Though her passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, Shelley’s memory will continue through the people she loved and the lives she touched. Her family will carry forward the lessons, love, and memories she gave them. Shelley will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Rest peacefully, Aunt Shelley. You were loved like a mother, admired like a role model, and cherished as family. Obit provided by her nephew Brandon Sanchez via Facebook 9-14-2026 |
