About	Sharon Parker was born on March 30, 1959, in Novato, California. She grew up in Northern California, graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1977, and then moved to Virginia with her mother, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from George Mason University. Sharon continued her studies at the University of Southern California, earning her master's in economics in 1984 and gaining experience as a teaching assistant. She began her career in economics, working in banking and government agencies. While at USC, Sharon reunited with her high school sweetheart, Michael, and they married in 1987. Sharon and Michael settled in Northern California, where they welcomed their son, Sean. Sharon cherished family life, her animals, and her involvement in the community-especially her work with local animal shelters, her church, and the P.E.O. organization supporting women's education. In December 2024, Sharon and Michael retired to Tellico Village, Tennessee, to be near family and enjoy a peaceful and active life. Sharon passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2026, in Knoxville, at the age of 66. Sharon's life was marked by love, faith, and dedication to her family and community. Her marriage to Michael was a source of joy, and their shared Christian faith was a pillar of strength and hope. She will be forever missed and remembered with love. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Christ our Savior Lutheran Church with a fellowship to follow the service at the church. A graveside service will then be held following the service at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Springs Cemetery with Pastor Mark Rhoads officiating both services. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home,
